On October 7, Japanese media reported that actor Shinsaku Shimazaki passed away on September 6 due to a cerebral hemorrhage, just four days before his birthday.
The information was confirmed by management company M MUSIC through an official announcement released on October 6, nearly 1 month after his death.

In a statement, M MUSIC wrote: “We are deeply saddened to announce that actor Shinsaku Shimazaki suddenly passed away on September 6 due to a cerebral hemorrhage at the age of 32. This unexpected passing has left the entire company still in disbelief. Throughout his career, he devoted himself to the stage and brought emotion and laughter to audiences through many memorable roles.”
Shinsaku Shimazaki's funeral was held privately, with only family and relatives attending.
Shinsaku Shimazaki was born in 1993 and has appeared in many prominent stage and commercial projects such as the musical Les Misérables ( Les Misérables, 2021) as Joly, the lead role in the modern version of Botchan , the role of Ben in the opera The Telephone , and many television commercials in Japan.
The actor's sudden passing has left colleagues and fans in shock. In his memory, a memorial concert will be held on October 31, where friends and loved ones of Shinsaku Shimazaki can come to say goodbye.
