National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attends the forum "Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation - Bac Ninh Breakthrough and Development"

On the afternoon of April 13, at Kinh Bac Cultural Center, Bac Ninh province organized the forum program "Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation - Bac Ninh Breakthrough and Development". The forum focused on introducing the province's planning and planning orientation and models of organization, management, and operation of science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation zones; Experts and scientists discussed solutions for developing digital technology industry, digital government, digital economy, digital society, and digital citizens to meet the province's development requirements in the coming time.

In his speech, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man welcomed and highly appreciated Bac Ninh province for organizing this forum, in the context that the Party, State, National Assembly and Government are taking drastic measures to promote the application and development of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation. The organization of the forum demonstrates the determination of the Party Committee, government and people of Bac Ninh province in promoting the application of advanced science and technology to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, meeting the development requirements of the province in the new period.

The National Assembly Chairman suggested a number of issues for Bac Ninh to deploy and implement, such as: investing in building a modern data center, especially developing artificial intelligence (AI), applying new technology to key economic sectors with advantages of the province, developing a science, technology and innovation ecosystem - developing a high-tech industrial park.

At the same time, Chairman Tran Thanh Man also suggested that Bac Ninh develop digital data, build digital government, digital society and apply science and technology, but the ultimate goal is still towards the people.

The National Assembly Chairman believes that with determination, Bac Ninh will move quickly in the journey of developing science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, making Bac Ninh soon become one of the leading localities in the country in digital transformation with 3 pillars: Digital Government - Digital Economy - Digital Society, actively contributing to the rapid and sustainable development of the locality and the whole country.

Within the framework of the program, the Provincial People's Committee organized the Launching Ceremony of the Venture Capital Fund for innovative startups, technology incubation and digital transformation of the province. Delegates witnessed a series of cooperation signing activities marking new steps in building strategic partnerships, creating strong momentum for the development of Bac Ninh province: Signing a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between Bac Ninh province and the Korean Business Association in Vietnam, signing a cooperation agreement on training digital human resources between schools and businesses; signing a cooperation agreement on training, development of science and technology and innovation between Bac Ninh province and universities and research institutes.
