Improve the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism work.

On March 12, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province organized a seminar on improving the quality and effectiveness of social supervision and criticism work of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations at all levels in the province. Mr. Le Van Binh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province chaired the conference.

At the seminar, delegates analyzed and evaluated the implementation results as well as the advantages and difficulties in the process of organizing social supervision and criticism in the past time by the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio -political organizations from the provincial to grassroots levels.

To improve the work of social supervision and criticism, it is necessary to strengthen the coordination between the Front and socio-political organizations in mobilizing the people to actively participate, clearly identify the focus and key points of social supervision and criticism on issues of concern to the Party and the people, be honest and straightforward in the struggle for social supervision and criticism, overcome the overlapping and duplication in supervision, thoroughly resolve recommendations and proposals after supervision. It is necessary to organize training courses for the staff of the Front and socio-political organizations, and have a mechanism for social supervision and criticism.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Le Van Binh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ninh Thuan province acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions and positive solutions raised by the delegates at today's discussion; at the same time, he emphasized that in order for the supervision and social criticism work in the locality to be substantive and highly effective, in the coming time, the Front and socio-political organizations need to proactively study and grasp the resolutions and policies of the Party, Party committees and programs and plans of local authorities.

It is necessary to grasp the aspirations of the people and the issues that people propose and reflect through meetings with voters and dialogues between leaders of Party committees and authorities with the people to select the content of social supervision and criticism that is appropriate to the practical situation in the locality.
