Improve the effectiveness of the Youth Union and youth movements

From the beginning of 2025 until now, Thuan Hung Ward Youth Union has organized many activities in the "Youth Volunteer" movement, such as: mobilizing gifts for policy families, people, and young union members in difficult circumstances; environmental sanitation, planting trees and flowers along the roads; participating in the construction and upgrading of roads, implementing the model "National Flag Road", "Bright - green - clean - beautiful road"...

Along with that, the ward Youth Union coordinated to organize free medical examinations and medicine, award scholarships to students who overcome difficulties and excel in their studies; organize experiential activities for students in the Army unit. Ms. Dong Thi Van Em, Secretary of the ward Youth Union, said: "In addition to the above activities, the ward Youth Union is interested in organizing activities to return to the source, visit historical and cultural relics... Thereby contributing to educating the revolutionary tradition, love of homeland and country for the Youth Union members and students".

In the past 5 years, Thuan Hung Ward Youth Union and its affiliated units have mobilized the implementation of 15 youth projects, with a total value of more than 1 billion VND, such as: painting murals, building traffic bridges, installing lighting on roads; implementing models such as "Fairy Garden", "Clean Vegetable Garden for Children", "Youth Flower Pot"... The ward's Youth Union has volunteered to participate in general environmental cleaning, clearing roads, removing illegal advertisements; organizing communication activities on environmental protection, mobilizing people to participate in building civilized urban areas; taking care of policy families, people in difficult circumstances...

The ward Youth Union and its branches effectively maintain skillful mass mobilization models. In 2022, the ward Youth Union coordinated with Hoa Hung Nam Pagoda to implement the "Support to School" Program. Up to now, the program has awarded many scholarships to primary, secondary and high school students in difficult circumstances, with a total value of 50 million VND. The ward Youth Union also coordinated with Hoa Hung Nam Pagoda to organize summer activities, children's club activities in residential areas, respond to Youth Month; visit and give gifts to people and children in difficult circumstances... with a total amount of nearly 3 billion VND.

According to Ms. Dong Thi Van Em, the Ward Youth Union has successfully implemented the Program "Accompanying young people to start a business and establish a career". Up to now, the Ward Youth Union has established loan and savings groups to help young people start a business; organized communication activities to raise awareness for young people about vocational training; provided advice and support for young people about starting a business and establishing a career; coordinated the organization of training courses, transferring science and technology; provided career advice to 614 young people and introduced jobs to 345 young people...

In the coming time, Thuan Hung Ward Youth Union will continue to organize volunteer activities in the direction of improving quality, ensuring widespread, oriented, creative, practical and effective activities; organizing volunteer activities on the spot, suitable for each object and field of work of young cadres, civil servants and public employees, closely following the political tasks of the industry and locality.

In addition, the unit promotes volunteer activities for community life and social security. In particular, it expands the scope and improves the quality of the programs "Supporting exam season", "Supporting going to school", "Voluntary blood donation", "Voluntary Saturday", "Green Sunday", "Repaying gratitude - Remembering the source when drinking water". The ward Youth Union strengthens the organization of emulation movements for studying and scientific research; mobilizes young union members to actively improve their education, expertise, and skills... At the same time, it promotes activities to support young union members in developing economic development models and startups through the application of modern technology; developing smart agricultural models and agricultural services associated with eco-tourism.
