Electricity industry supports people to install customer care application

BAC NINH - From July 2025, the Lang Giang Regional Power Management Team will deploy a plan to support people in installing the "Customer Care" application of the Northern Power Corporation.

To prevent electricity bill payment fraud on the internet, recently, the Lang Giang Regional Electricity Management Team has sent a document to the authorities of the communes under its management to coordinate propaganda (through the local smart broadcasting system; direct propaganda at cultural houses, leaflet distribution...) with the content asking electricity customers to raise their vigilance: Do not provide personal information; do not access strange links and link customers' bank accounts to strange applications.

Since July 2025, the Lang Giang Regional Power Management Team has implemented a plan to support people in installing the "Customer Care" application of the Northern Power Corporation. Hundreds of technical staff have directly gone to villages, markets, business locations and densely populated areas to guide and support installation. Thanks to that, thousands of customers in the area have clearly understood the benefits and proactively used the official App of the Electricity industry, thereby effectively preventing online fraud.

The popularization and support of App installation not only helps customers access online electricity services quickly and conveniently, but also helps people monitor and manage daily electricity output, adjust electricity usage plans more reasonably and economically.

The representative of the Lang Giang Regional Power Management Team said that in the last months of the year, the unit will strengthen coordination with local authorities, mass organizations such as the Youth Union, Women's Union, community digital technology teams in villages/hamlets to support customers in installing the Electricity industry's customer care app directly at densely populated areas, industrial parks and clusters.

By December 2025, strive to support 100% of customers using smartphones to install the Electricity industry's customer care app, contributing to improving the efficiency of digital transformation and protecting information security in the energy sector.
