According to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in the third quarter of 2025, the radio, television and electronic information sector revoked 1 license to provide paid radio and television services; blocked and removed 10,713 articles opposing the Party and State, violating Vietnamese law (96%) on Facebook; removed 705 violating videos (92%) on YouTube; blocked and removed 798 violating contents (97%) on Tiktok. Monitored and supervised the activities of 6 foreign enterprises across borders.

Since September 2025, the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) has been blocking and removing a lot of bad, toxic, fake news..., contributing to the purification of information on digital platforms. A representative of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information said that since 2017, the unit has been blocking and removing bad, toxic information on social networking platforms such as Facebook, Youtube, Tiktok... In the past 2 years, the blocking and removal rate has reached 90% or more.

In particular, ahead of the 14th National Party Congress scheduled to take place in January 2026, the management agency will launch a campaign, requiring cross-border platforms to be on duty 24/7 to block and remove information within just 2 hours of detection.
