Attending the congress were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dong Nai province Vo Tan Duc; Mr. Vu The Binh, Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association; representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; leaders of Tourism Associations of the provinces: Tay Ninh, Vinh Long, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh City and tourism businesses, travel agencies, and tourist destinations in the province.

The 1st Dong Nai Provincial Tourism Association Congress is an event of special significance, marking a strategic transformation of the tourism industry of Dong Nai province in the new context, with a unified association, operating professionally, with a clear legal entity, representing the common interests of businesses, organizations and individuals operating in the tourism sector in the province. At the same time, this is also a necessary preparation step for the process of integration, consolidation and sustainable development in the period 2025-2030.

During the 2025-2030 term, the association will focus on the following tasks: Promoting and advertising Dong Nai tourism to domestic and international markets; organizing activities to connect and link tourism regions and develop local tourism products; improving the quality of tourism human resources through training, education, and technology transfer; promoting digital transformation in tourism activities and connecting with the national tourism ecosystem.

The Association will be a forum for tourism businesses to exchange, connect, share experiences and develop orientations in the new period; strengthen the role of links between businesses - authorities and localities to promote the development of Dong Nai tourism in a professional, sustainable and effective direction.

At the congress, Mr. Pham Huong Son, Chairman of Truong Tuoi Group, Chairman of Truong Tuoi Dong Nai Football Club was elected to hold the position of Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

Speaking at the congress, Chairman of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Pham Huong Son said: Dong Nai is facing a golden opportunity. With international infrastructure projects such as Long Thanh Airport, along with a system of road, sea, rail and inland waterway infrastructure connecting with key economic zones of the country, Dong Nai is opening a "big door for multi-dimensional development".

This is the time for the tourism industry to rise up, take advantage of geographical, cultural and ecological advantages to become a connecting center and high-quality destination of the Southeast region and the whole country. To do that requires efforts and mutual support between businesses, organizations, and individuals doing tourism business, tourism services to promote the values, potentials and advantages of tourism in Dong Nai province.

Speaking at the congress, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc suggested: Dong Nai Provincial Tourism Association urgently build and stabilize the organizational structure to start operating immediately after the congress. The Provincial Tourism Association must truly be a common home, acting as a representative of the business community, organizations and individuals operating in the tourism sector, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of members, and being a bridge between businesses and state agencies. Promoting the spirit of self-reliance, entrepreneurship, and creative start-ups; enhancing proactiveness and boldness in investing in tourism development.

Members of the association need to strengthen links, cooperation, and form value chains of high-quality tourism services to develop together. At the same time, promote the application of scientific and technological advances in business activities and brand building to improve the quality of tourism products to be competitive in the market...
