The above information was confirmed by Mr. Trinh Ngoc Hiep, Deputy Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Health , on October 2.
According to the document signed by Mr. Hiep, at the end of September, the Department of Health received a report from the Khanh Hoa Social Protection and Social Work Center. In the report, the center said it had discovered a Facebook page called “Boarding Class for the Elderly”, impersonating the unit and using the address of this state agency to commit fraud.

The Department of Health confirmed that the information on Facebook about the Khanh Hoa Social Protection and Social Work Center opening a boarding class for the elderly is false.
According to the Department of Health, Khanh Hoa currently does not have any boarding classes for the elderly. Therefore, people need to be wary of inaccurate and unverified information on social networks.
To strengthen the prevention and fight against fraud crimes in cyberspace, the Department of Health requested the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police to direct units and localities to step up the situation control, strictly manage activities related to fraud and property appropriation; launch a peak attack and suppress this type of crime, especially in the online environment.
