Nguyen Thi Oanh and Hoang Thi Ngoc Hoa won the 2025 International Marathon

Vietnamese athletes Nguyen Thi Oanh, Hoang Thi Ngoc Hoa, Nguyen Trung Cuong, Pham Tien San... all maintained their form, finishing first in each distance at the 2025 International Marathon competition in Hanoi on October 5.

Vietnam's No. 1 track and field athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh and many athletes of the Vietnam Track and Field Team compete in the Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon 2025. Currently, Nguyen Thi Oanh is in the stage of accumulating physical strength to prepare for the 33rd SEA Games.

The female athlete competed in the 21km half marathon and finished first with a result of 1 hour 20 minutes 05 seconds. This is an acceptable result for Nguyen Thi Oanh at the present time.

Meanwhile, athlete Hoang Thi Ngoc Hoa won the women's 42km marathon with a result of 2 hours 54 minutes 20 seconds. Hoang Thi Ngoc Hoa won the gold medal at the 2025 National Marathon Championship with a result of 2 hours 42 minutes 10 seconds.

On the same morning of the competition on October 5, athlete Hoang Nguyen Thanh only finished 3rd in the men's 42km marathon with a time of 2 hours 30 minutes 58 seconds.

The winner of the competition was Ethiopian athlete Ebisa Takele Kure (2 hours 29 minutes 35 seconds) and second place was Kennedy Lilan (Kenya): 2 hours 30 minutes 28 seconds.

In the men's 21km half marathon, Nguyen Trung Cuong finished first after completing the distance with a time of 1 hour 10 minutes 07 seconds.

In addition to the above events, the organizing committee also recorded the competition results in the 10km and 5km distances for men and women.

The Techcombank Hanoi International Marathon 2025 attracted more than 13,000 athletes, including many international athletes, competing in 4 events including marathon 42km, half marathon 21km, 10km and 5km.
