22-year-old marathon runner makes special impression
Emerging as a new giant runner, Huynh Anh Khoi has quickly made his mark in the Vietnamese running community.
Born in 2003, Anh Khoi has only been running for over 2 years, but has quickly become one of the fastest Vietnamese marathon runners and has already had several titles in the top 3.
Originally a short and medium distance athlete in Ho Chi Minh City, Khoi soon had the qualities of a strong and flexible runner. However, Khoi himself admitted that after a period of pursuing this type of sport, he felt it was not suitable for him, so he decided to switch to marathon running. From then on, he began to find motivation and joy when participating in most running competitions from grassroots to international and gradually asserted his position.

Thanks to his experience, perseverance, reasonable distribution of strength and high concentration in competition, Huynh Anh Khoi won gloriously in the fourth race, HDBank Green Marathon 2025 in Can Gio commune.
The weather was cool, the running track was so beautiful in the fresh ecological space, combined with determination and energy, Khoi surprised everyone when he set a record of 2 hours 27 minutes 18 seconds in the 42 km category, breaking the old record by 5 minutes 25 seconds. Not only that, Anh Khoi also surpassed the second place Le Van Tuan by more than 4 minutes and the third place Ly Phi Hai by 16 minutes. An extremely impressive achievement, a great step forward in Anh Khoi's career, showing the great potential and resilience of this 22-year-old runner.

In the women's category, runner Le Thi Ha also finished impressively with a time of 2 hours 58 minutes 27 seconds. This is also Ha's best result after many times running for more than 3 hours. In the half marathon category, 2 runners Pham Ngoc Phan (1 hour 14 minutes 12 seconds) and Nguyen Khanh Ly (1 hour 29 minutes 24 seconds) were the winners for men and women.
