That is Nguyen Gia Hung, a 12A9 student at Ngo Gia Tu High School (Cam Ranh City), who saw his bank account receive 490 million VND from a stranger, so he verified and returned it to the person who transferred it by mistake.

Talking to Tuoi Tre Online , Hung said the money was transferred on March 25, but he didn't pay attention.

Then, on March 26, Hung suddenly discovered a large sum of money in his account while having dinner with his family.

"At that time, I was both scared and worried because I had never received such a large amount of money. After that, I informed my parents, but because my bank account was limited, I could not transfer a large amount of money, and the information of the person who mistakenly transferred the money could not be verified, so I could not transfer it back" - Hung said.

On March 27, Hung took the initiative to miss two classes at school to go to the bank with his father.

After verifying the information related to the person who mistakenly transferred the above amount, the bank supported Hung in transferring back the amount of 490 million VND to the person who mistakenly transferred the amount.

It is known that the person who mistakenly transferred the above amount of money was Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong (in Hai Duong ). The money was transferred to her partner for business purposes, but was mistakenly transferred to Hung's account.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen, principal of Ngo Gia Tu High School, said that Hung is a sociable student, has a spirit of striving in studying, Hung is the eldest son in the family, and is usually filial to his parents.

"Faced with such a large sum of money, Hung was honest and not greedy for other people's money. The school will give him a certificate of merit and praise him to spread this good deed," Ms. Yen shared.
