The "roses" have kind hearts

Not only is it a common home for members to exchange and share business experiences, the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association is also a place to connect kind hearts, join hands with all levels and sectors to actively participate in social security activities, care for the material and spiritual life of the poor, policy families and social protection beneficiaries.

The Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association currently has over 200 members, operating in 5 clubs. Over the years, businesses led and managed by Lao Cai female entrepreneurs have overcome storms, sustained and developed production and business, making positive contributions to the socio -economic development of the province.

The Association has promoted its role as a bridge between the government and businesses, and communication. Download policies to help businesses and business households promptly grasp and increase participation in trade promotion activities of the province and departments, organizations. At the same time, it is a common home for businesses to exchange, learn and share experiences in production and business.

Not only is it a gathering place to demonstrate the mettle of women who are good at economic management and administration, the Women Entrepreneurs Association is also a gathering place for kind-hearted people.

The impact of the circulation of storm No. 3 (September 2024) and the recent storm Bualoi caused serious flooding and landslides, causing heavy damage to most of the businesses of the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association members. However, with the spirit of mutual love for the community and willingness to share, the women in the Association donated and supported tens of thousands of "0 VND" meals and thousands of gifts and essential items delivered to people in the midst of the raging floods.

The members actively participated in helping people, cooking rice and providing water for the army, police, militia, youth and women from the localities to support people in overcoming the consequences of floods. At the same time, the Association connected with benefactors from all over the country to share with people affected by natural disasters; to encourage families, and introduce volunteer groups to support families in difficult circumstances who need timely help.

The spirit of "mutual love" and "helping each other" of these women has been leaving a good impression on society and the community about female entrepreneurs who are not only dynamic and creative in business but also full of compassion.

Ms. Pham Thu Huong - Owner of Tung Duong wedding restaurant, where the "0 VND" meal was held, shared: With the support of many philanthropists and the Lao Cai Province Women Entrepreneurs Association, we have more funds to cook "0 VND" meals to send to people affected by the recent floods. Each meal may not be worth much, but it is the love for the people, adding spiritual motivation to help them overcome difficulties.

Lao Cai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association coordinated with charitable organizations to give gifts to families of war invalids, martyrs and people with revolutionary contributions in Nam Cuong ward.

In 5 years (from 2018 - 2024), the Lao Cai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association has supported women in particularly difficult circumstances to develop their economy through livelihood models, such as raising goats, cows, growing medicinal plants...; supported sustainable poverty reduction, building "Warm Houses of Love" with an amount of 970 million VND; supported Covid-19 prevention and control activities with over 563 million VND; supported students in difficult circumstances through the "Lighting the Future" and "Godmother" programs with a budget of over 1.2 billion VND.

In addition, the Lao Cai Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association also carried out many charity programs with a total amount of over 5.6 billion VND.

In the first 6 months of 2025 alone, members supported the funds: "Repaying gratitude", "Drinking water, remembering its source", "Agent Orange", "Encouraging education", "For the poor"; giving gifts to policy families, supporting families in difficult circumstances and volunteer activities with a total amount of nearly 800 million VND.

The Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association has been inspiring many other women. They have proven that women are not only responsible for family work and good at business, but also active contributors to the development of the community. They will continue their journey to connect hearts, spread love and accompany the government to build Lao Cai province more and more prosperous.
