On the morning of July 21, relatives of the victims of the capsized ship Vinh Xanh 58 burned incense and quietly prayed by the sea. Amid the rains before Typhoon No. 3 Wipha is about to make landfall, many people still hold out hope for a miracle that will help them find the bodies of the four missing victims.

Relatives of the four missing victims (including Hoang Van Thai - born in 1985; Hoang Viet Hung - 1979; Hoang Thi Quyen - 1975 and Nguyen Duy Khai Phong 2019) quietly lit incense sticks on the beach, hoping that the victims would soon return to their families.

Many local people also took the time to stop by the beach, burn incense and silently pray for the unfortunate victims. That silent sharing was like a warm embrace amidst the loss and pain.

Among the four incense bowls placed along the beach, there is a special small incense bowl for Nguyen Duy Khai Phong (6 years old, the youngest victim) with a white teddy bear next to him, a familiar toy for children, touching many people.

Many other incense bowls with candies and fresh fruits were also quietly placed by people, expressing sympathy and deep sharing with the loss of families whose loved ones were in the accident.

At around 9:30, the authorities found the body of a boy near Ti Top Island. The remaining three victims are still missing. The Lighthouse Wharf remains in a quiet and heavy atmosphere.

Previously, the Green Bay 58 tourist boat carrying 49 people, including 46 tourists and 3 crew members, was visiting route 2 on Ha Long Bay when it suddenly encountered a big storm at around 1:30 p.m. on July 19, causing the boat to capsize. The tragic accident left 36 people dead, 3 people are still missing. Thanks to the efforts of the rescue team, 10 people were rescued.
