The bad husband in primetime Vietnamese movies

The character Nghiem in "Sao Kim shoots his heart at Sao Hoa" makes the audience angry because of his indifference and coldness towards his wife.

TV series Venus shoots Mars in the heart broadcast on VTV3 attracted the attention of the audience thanks to the humorous situations and stories about modern marriage of three couples. Among them, the couple Serious - Trang is getting the most attention because her husband Nghiem makes many female viewers angry.

Nghiem (Tien Loc) is a police officer, because he is busy with work and is dry, not good at communication, so he got married late. When he was introduced to Trang (Bich Ngoc) - a gentle, understanding, beautiful kindergarten teacher, the two quickly got married. Therefore, the feelings between husband and wife do not have deep understanding, gradually in life, conflicts are revealed.

The couple Nghiem - Trang was discussed a lot by the audience after the movie Sao Kim shoots heart on Mars aired. In which, Nghiem was considered the most heartless husband on Vietnamese screen.

In it, Nghiem made Trang and the audience angry because of his rigid and tactless behavior. He refused to communicate with Trang's friends, even though he knew they were his wife's friends, but still showed a cold attitude and punished them according to the law.

The conflict escalated when in episode 5, Nghiem let his wife go back to her father-in-law's hometown alone. In fact, both husband and wife had planned to go back to their hometown a long time ago, Nghiem also asked for leave, but right before boarding the bus, Nghiem received a request to help handle a traffic accident, he accepted and let his wife carry a lot of things back to her hometown first.

Nghiem does not respect his wife's friends.

He let his wife go back to her hometown alone on her father's death anniversary, making her feel humiliated.

After discovering that the accident victim was his ex-girlfriend, Nghiem even took her to the hospital. Meanwhile, in the countryside, Trang was scolded by her mother with extremely harsh words because her husband did not come home. This situation made the audience angry, criticizing Nghiem's character as "lazy at housework, diligent at his ex-girlfriend's work", "good to everyone except his wife". Viewers commented that Nghiem clearly did not take his wife's family and her feelings seriously, so he acted in such a tactless manner. This is also a common story of many husbands in society. Therefore, this situation received sympathy from many female viewers.

The audience thinks Nghiem is more hateful than Nghia in Heart Rescue Station.

Actor Tien Loc, who plays Nghiem, said that from the moment he received the script, he knew that Nghiem would receive criticism from viewers. However, he wanted to portray a multi-dimensional character.

"My job is to separate the family circumstances of my character to bring a multi-dimensional perspective on current life to the audience because no family is the same as any other family and has nothing to show the audience. In real life, I have witnessed many families with more tension than Nghiem - Trang's family," actor Tien Loc shared.
