Promoting the role of the Front in the new period

On the afternoon of October 14, comrade Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, had a working session with the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. Attending the meeting were comrade Ma The Hong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; comrade Ha Trung Kien, member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Comrade Ha Thi Nga, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee spoke at the working session with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Provincial Committee.

At the meeting, comrade Ha Trung Kien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, reported on the Front's activities after implementing the 2-level local government model, and informed about the severe damage caused by storms No. 10 and 11 in the province in the past time. Immediately after the storm, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee proactively coordinated with the government and member organizations to carry out relief work, helping people quickly stabilize their lives and restore production.

The delegates shared the advantages and difficulties in implementing the two-level government model. Some notable contents include: Party organization arrangement; decentralization; uneven resources for task implementation. However, the provincial Fatherland Front and its member organizations affirmed their determination to innovate and improve operational efficiency to meet the requirements of the new period.

The delegates also expressed their opinions, advantages and difficulties in the process of implementing the 2-level local government organization model. Some issues were raised such as: Party organization arrangement; decentralization, delegation of authority to rearrange the staff; resources to carry out political tasks... Despite many difficulties and challenges, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations all affirmed their determination to overcome difficulties, innovate the content and methods of operation to promote the role of the Front in the new period.

In her concluding remarks, Comrade Ha Thi Nga, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee in the past time, especially the central role of the Front in the great national unity bloc, social security activities, disaster relief, social supervision and criticism. She emphasized that in the context of many challenges, the Front at all levels has demonstrated a sense of responsibility, closely following reality, for the benefit of the people.

The Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front suggested that in the coming time, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee should continue to promote initiative and creativity in implementing patriotic emulation movements and major campaigns launched by the Central Government. At the same time, it is necessary to focus on grasping the people's thoughts and aspirations; promptly reporting to the Party Committee and the government to have effective solutions, contributing to consolidating people's trust in the Party's leadership. He also requested to strengthen the building of a strong Front organization, improve the capacity of cadres, especially at the grassroots level; promote coordination between the Front and the government and member organizations, in order to effectively carry out political tasks, contributing to building a sustainable local development.
