Ho Chi Minh City tests digital government management platform

From October 15, 2025 to December 31, 2025, Ho Chi Minh City will pilot the Ho Chi Minh City digital government management platform throughout the city.

Ho Chi Minh City's digital government management platform has 6 main functions: Monitoring and reminding tasks from the Government Office ; monitoring and reminding tasks from the City People's Committee; assigning tasks immediately; reminding individuals; personal contacts and exchanges, and work groups to remind processing.

Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center organizes information security assessment for the platform in accordance with current regulations.

To implement the above contents, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee assigned the City Digital Transformation Center to preside over and coordinate with the City People's Committee Office to develop and deploy a pilot application on mobile devices for officials and civil servants in the City.

The deployment, management and operation of the digital government management platform must ensure smooth operation and information security; training and instruction on use must be organized for cadres, civil servants, and public employees of Departments, branches, sectors, People's Committees of wards, communes, and special zones in the City, ensuring completeness and synchronization.

Application installation and user manual for all cadres, civil servants and public employees must be completed before October 15.

After the testing period, the City Digital Transformation Center evaluated the performance, efficiency, integration and stability of the application, and continued to preside over and coordinate with the City People's Committee Office to perfect the application to ensure it serves the direction and operation of the City's leaders in the electronic environment.

Including the following functions: Digital control panel; processing work records applying digital signature throughout the process; managing and updating the results of handling tasks assigned by the Government , the Party Committee of the People's Committee and the City People's Committee, and the Chairman of the City People's Committee; integrating features currently operating on the Document Management and Work Records software of the City People's Committee Office; completion time in the first quarter of 2026./.
