Attending the ceremony were comrades: Lam Hai Giang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the Saigon Education Quality Assessment Center; representatives of the leaders of a number of departments, branches, and localities; representatives of the Board of Directors of many high schools in the provinces: Gia Lai, Quang Ngai, Dak Lak; representatives of partner enterprises; staff, teachers, employees and more than 380 alumni and students of Quang Trung University.

At the opening ceremony, the Quang Trung University Council announced the Decision to recognize Dr. To Ba Lam as the school's Principal.

In his new position, Dr. To Ba Lam - President of Quang Trung University commits to working with the leadership team and all staff, lecturers and students to focus on strongly innovating the training environment through leading experimental and experiential spaces, business and international cooperation so that students can learn for real, be able to do and be ready to enter life. Along with that, promote comprehensive digital transformation, making Quang Trung University a smart university, operating modernly and effectively; building a culture of responsibility, service and creativity.

Dr. To Ba Lam said that last school year, thanks to the attention and support of the local government, the close direction of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors, the collective leadership, cadres, lecturers, staff and students of the School were always steadfast in ideology, assured in work, united, unanimously striving, overcoming difficulties and challenges to excellently complete the targets and tasks of the school year in all fields. In particular, after achieving the quality accreditation of educational institutions in February 2025, Quang Trung University has recently achieved the quality accreditation of 04 university-level training programs including: Nursing, Business Administration, Information Technology and Construction Engineering Technology.

The 2025 - 2026 school year takes place in the context of continuing to implement the Resolutions on "Fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training", which is a milestone marking a strong shift in the strategy of developing applied learning, comprehensive digital transformation and internationalization of the educational environment at Quang Trung University.

Principal To Ba Lam emphasized: The focus of this school year is to continue to consolidate, perfect, and perfect the organizational structure according to the policies and plans of the School Council; enhance professional training and pedagogical skills, and create conditions for lecturers to develop. Continue to thoroughly grasp and adhere to the Resolutions, directives, and regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training . Pay special attention to the work of comprehensively innovating education and training, improving the quality of education and training of the school.

In professional work, the school is proactive and innovative in enrollment and training, maintaining and promoting the emulation movement "Teach well, Learn well", improving training quality; strengthening the work of ensuring the quality of the school, continuing to seriously and correctly implement regulations on organizing exams, grading exams, and collecting students' opinions; promoting scientific research among both lecturers and students in the direction of application; continuing to rectify discipline and order, improving regularity in training and managing students; further accelerating the digitalization process, building an electronic school, a digital school to contribute to improving the effectiveness of management and training of the school; strengthening foreign relations in training and fostering students; continuing to promote cooperative relations; strengthening relations with units and localities to gain support, create conditions, and help the school develop quickly and sustainably. In addition, the school also focuses on capturing, exploiting and promoting resources to improve the school's infrastructure; modernizing investment contents, speeding up progress, ensuring safety and quality of projects under construction; paying attention to improving working conditions and improving the lives of lecturers, staff and students.

At the opening ceremony, Quang Trung University was awarded a certificate of quality accreditation for four university training programs including: Nursing, Business Administration, Information Technology and Construction Engineering Technology.

Quang Trung University has also signed cooperation agreements with 09 businesses and units in the area to provide students with many opportunities to experience the practical aspects of the professions they are studying and easily find jobs after graduation; helping to shorten the gap between "students - schools - businesses".

Quang Trung University signed a cooperation agreement with Gia Lai Provincial General Hospital.

On this occasion, Quang Trung University's partner businesses awarded many "Support to School" scholarships to the school's students, with a total scholarship value of over 550 million VND. In addition, Quang Trung University also awarded scholarships to 07 students with excellent achievements in the past school year.
