The Central Committee gave opinions on the introduction of personnel for Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Minister of Home Affairs.

According to Resolution 73, after reviewing and discussing the submissions and reports of the Politburo , the Central Executive Committee resolved to approve the documents submitted to the 14th National Congress of the Party: Draft Political Report; draft report summarizing a number of theoretical and practical issues on the socialist-oriented renovation process over the past 40 years in Vietnam; draft report summarizing 15 years of implementing the Party Charter.

The Central Executive Committee assigned the Politburo to base on the Central Committee's discussion opinions and contributions from Party congresses at all levels to absorb and complete the documents, send them to National Assembly deputies, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, mass organizations, cadres, Party members and people for comments; and direct the absorption and completion of the draft documents to be submitted to the 15th Central Conference.

Notably, Resolution 73 clearly stated that the Central Committee unanimously introduced the personnel of the 14th Party Central Committee (official members and alternate members; re-elected and first-time participants) and the personnel of the 14th Party Central Inspection Committee (re-elected and first-time participants) to present to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The Central Committee also gave opinions on the time, content and program of the Congress; the working regulations and the election regulations at the 14th National Congress of the Party. The Politburo was assigned to, based on the Central Committee's discussion opinions, direct the reception and completion of the draft regulations and contents on the organization of the 14th Congress to submit to the 14th National Congress of the Party.

Resolution 73 also stated that the Central Committee elected four additional members of the 13th Central Inspection Committee; gave opinions on personnel for the Politburo to decide to introduce at the 10th session of the 15th National Assembly to elect the following positions: Secretary General of the National Assembly - Head of the National Assembly Office; Head of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology and Environment; Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Head of the National Assembly's Delegation Affairs Committee and approved the positions: Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of Home Affairs.

The Central Committee also agreed to let Mr. Le Quang Huy, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment of the 15th National Assembly, cease to hold the position of member of the 13th Party Central Committee.

The Central Committee has disciplined Mr. Do Trong Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and former Chairman of the People's Council of Thanh Hoa province, by removing him from all Party positions.

The Party Central Committee reviewed and commented on reports on the preparations for the 14th Party Congress; on important tasks the Politburo had handled from the 12th Central Conference to the 13th Central Conference and planned a number of key tasks from the 13th Central Conference to the 14th Central Conference; on updates on recent developments in the world and regional situation and our viewpoints and policies; on the country's situation in the first 9 months of 2025; and on party financial work in 2024.
