More than 200 students compete in drawing pictures of Vietnamese and Japanese cultural symbols.

(DN) - On the morning of October 12, Dong Nai Children's House (Tan Trieu Ward) coordinated with the Vietnam - Japan Friendship Association of the province to organize the 2025 Painting Contest with the theme Cultural Symbols of Vietnam and Japan.

More than 200 students from primary schools, secondary schools, drawing classes of Dong Nai Children's House, students who love drawing, children of Japanese people living and working in Dong Nai province participated in the contest. The works were drawn on A3 paper, closely following the theme of Cultural Symbols of Vietnam and Japan (drawing symbolic images of the two countries such as: Ao Dai, Mount Fuji, bronze drum, cherry blossoms...).

The organizing committee will award 2 first prizes, 4 second prizes, 6 third prizes, 8 fourth prizes and certificates of participation in the contest to the contestants with the highest results in the upcoming Vietnam - Japan cultural exchange program.

The contest is one of the activities to celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan (September 21, 1973); to propagate and educate the young pioneers and children of Dong Nai about the friendly relationship and good feelings between the two countries and peoples of Vietnam and Japan. Thereby, encouraging the young pioneers and children to connect and foster the solidarity and friendship of the country, people, culture and achievements of the Japanese people as well as the special traditional relationship between the Vietnamese people and the Japanese people.
