At the meeting, delegates discussed and reviewed preparations for the large-scale exercise, mobilizing the participation of many forces and modern means from the central to local levels. According to the plan, the command components will be fully deployed at the scene, at sea, on land and in the air, ensuring the ability to synchronously direct and flexibly handle all situations occurring during the exercise.

On the side of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, it has coordinated with forces of the Air Defense - Air Force, the Aviation Search and Rescue Coordination Center, the Central Airport Authority, the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation and many other units to fully deploy vehicles and human resources to serve the search, rescue and first aid work at the scene. Vehicles such as helicopters, seaplanes, rescue ships at sea, ambulances, command vehicles, tents and specialized equipment will be mobilized synchronously, effectively supporting the live-fire exercise.
For Gia Lai province, preparations have been thoroughly carried out with the participation of police, military , border guards, medical forces and local organizations and people. Accordingly, the provincial police force will be responsible for protection, ensuring traffic safety and coordinating rescue. The Provincial Military Command is responsible for mobilizing vehicles and technical equipment for the exercise, and at the same time sending forces to play the role of flight crew, passengers and coordinate the transportation and rescue of victims. The provincial hospital prepares the necessary medical equipment and personnel to perform first aid, classify, transport and initially handle cases at the scene. In addition, local fishermen are also mobilized to support in the exercise situation at sea.

Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam Ho Minh Tan said that SAREX 2025 is not only an opportunity to evaluate the response capacity of forces in a hypothetical situation of an aviation accident at sea, but also an opportunity to test and perfect inter-sectoral and inter-regional coordination procedures in search and rescue operations. Thereby, improving practical capacity, readiness and the ability to handle emergency situations effectively, ensuring absolute safety for people and vehicles.
The Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam expressed his hope that the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee would continue to pay close attention and provide maximum support in terms of facilities and local forces, and create favorable conditions for the organization of the exercise. Comrade Ho Minh Tan affirmed that the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam will continue to closely coordinate with relevant agencies and units to ensure that the exercise is organized successfully, safely, and in accordance with the set objectives.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Hue requested relevant units to review, unify and update the list of members of the Command Committee and the Sub-committees assisting the exercise, ensuring that each member is assigned the correct title and clear tasks to facilitate the coordination and implementation process when the exercise officially takes place. At the same time, it is necessary to specifically agree on the time of the exercise. Unifying the time frame will help agencies and units proactively arrange human resources, equipment and carry out steps to prepare for training and joint practice, ensuring that the exercise takes place as planned, safely and effectively.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that through the exercise, the participating forces will gain more experience and improve their ability to respond to and handle aviation incidents.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Gia Lai province will closely coordinate with the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and related units to ensure that the preparation work is carried out carefully, on schedule and according to the set requirements. The province will mobilize all necessary forces, means and equipment; at the same time, direct relevant departments, branches and localities to proactively review plans and be ready to coordinate in all drill situations.
The Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee hopes that through this exercise, the participating forces will gain more practical experience, thereby consolidating and improving their readiness to respond to and handle aviation incidents in the area in the coming time.
Earlier, in the morning of the same day, the working group of the Gia Lai Provincial Civil Defense Command and the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam conducted a field survey of the aircraft's location at sea, the search location and the assembly point of the search teams by land, air and sea to develop a specific plan suitable to the local situation./.
