Since the morning of October 10, at the Huu Lung Commune Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, Middle School and High School, the water has basically receded, leaving behind piles of mud and scattered books. Before that, in the past four days, the school was submerged in water, sometimes up to 3 meters deep, completely isolated. When the sun rose and the water receded, 250 soldiers of Regiment 12, Division 3, Military Region 1 arrived with equipment to overcome the consequences of the flood.

Books, documents, and teaching equipment were brought out to the yard to dry in the sun after many days of rain and floods in an urgent working atmosphere. Major Mong The Tai, Assistant of the Nhan Ly Area 3 Defense Command, said: When the flood appeared, Yen Binh commune was deeply flooded and isolated, the Army forces established teams and working groups to help people evacuate people and property to a safe place.
