The delegation inspected food items frequently used by students such as: sticky rice, bread, vermicelli, Quang noodles, rice rolls, cakes, soft drinks, fast food, snacks and processed foods. The inspection content was about the origin of the goods; expiry date; storage conditions; hygiene of processing tools.
At the same time, check compliance with regulations on safe food business: health certificates, contracts, food supply invoices, protective clothing, etc. Initial results show that the majority of business households are aware of complying with legal regulations.
However, there are still some limitations such as: some points of sale are not fully equipped with storage cabinets and coverings; lack of protective clothing, no contracts or food supply invoices. The inspection team promptly reminded, requested corrections and made records of violations.
At the same time, combine propaganda and dissemination of conditions and regulations of the law on food safety; organize business households to sign a commitment not to trade in fake goods, poor quality goods, goods of unknown origin, and ensure compliance with food safety conditions. Thereby, raising the sense of responsibility of business households, contributing to preventing the risk of food poisoning in schools.
