Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat (Lam Dong) aims to focus on tourism development

Concentrating many famous tourist areas and spots, Lam Vien ward - Da Lat continues to aim to develop diverse types of tourism, associated with agricultural production with the foundation of traditional flower villages.

On the morning of July 24, the 1st Congress of Lam Vien Ward Party Committee - Da Lat ( Lam Dong province), term 2025 - 2030, officially took place.

Lam Vien Ward Party Committee - Da Lat was established on the basis of merging 3 Party Committees of Ward 8, Ward 9 and Ward 12.

Attending the congress were 240 delegates from 67 party organizations, representing 2,431 party members in the ward.

Secretary of Lam Vien Ward Party Committee - Da Lat Dang Quang Tu said that during the past term, thanks to the close and timely leadership of all levels, along with the efforts and striving of the Party Committee, government and people in the area, most of the targets and tasks on socio-economics, national defense, security, Party building and political system building were completed.

In high-tech agricultural production, Lam Vien ward - Da Lat maintains a stable area of ​​710 hectares (average income of about 550 million VND/hectare), the annual crop planting area is stable, the income per unit area increases, there are 25 tissue culture facilities annually producing over 115 million seedlings to meet the production needs in the area.

The tourist accommodation system has been invested and upgraded to meet the diverse accommodation needs of tourists with 561 facilities in operation, including 14 2-star hotels, 4 3-star hotels, 2 4-star hotels, 2 5-star hotels, and 111 tourist villas.

Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat also aims to encourage and create conditions to promote the development of trade, tourism, services, diversify products to meet local consumption needs, and serve as input materials for agricultural production.

Promote cooperation, association, encourage and attract investment to develop new, high-quality tourism products with local advantages; focus on developing agricultural tourism, resort tourism, and have solutions to exploit the values ​​of Thai Phien, Ha Dong, and Da Thien flower villages...

According to the decisions announced by the Standing Committee of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee, the Executive Committee of Lam Vien Ward - Da Lat for the 2025 - 2030 term has been appointed to consist of 29 comrades, the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee consists of 9 comrades. Comrade Dang Quang Tu, Chairman of Da Lat City People's Committee was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Lam Vien Ward Party Committee - Da Lat; comrades Nguyen Quang Hai and Tran Thi Vu Loan hold the position of Deputy Secretaries of the Ward Party Committee.

In her speech, Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Pham Thi Phuc emphasized that with the advantage of large agricultural land area, long-standing flower villages, early-developed agricultural tourism, many famous tourist destinations; many educational, research and scientific and technological application facilities located in the area such as: Da Lat University, Army Academy, Nuclear Research Institute... are great potentials that not every locality has. The ward needs to have solutions to turn this great potential into resources for economic, cultural and social development.

At the same time, Lam Vien ward - Da Lat needs to promote its strengths in tourism - services, cultural industry, have comprehensive development solutions in terms of scale, quality, diversifying tourism product chains; forming attractive tourism space chains... to attract tourists, especially tourists on tours, routes, and long-term stays.
