
At the conference, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Linh Nam Ward Tran Dai Dung launched a campaign to support people in the Central and Northern provinces heavily affected by storm No. 11.
The acts of the officers, civil servants, employees, workers and people of the ward demonstrate the good tradition of "Mutual love and support - The healthy leaves cover the torn leaves", as well as the spirit of solidarity and affection towards the people in the disaster-stricken areas. The total amount of support at the launching ceremony was 65.3 million VND.

* Previously, responding to the call of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, on October 11 and 12, Tran Phu Secondary School, Thuy Linh (Linh Nam Ward) donated 5 tons of relief goods to educational facilities in Bac Ninh province affected by floods after storm No. 11.
Relief goods include food (instant noodles, drinking water, milk, rice) and essential items (clothes, books, school supplies, medical supplies, etc.). On October 13, Tran Phu Secondary School continued to support educational institutions in Thai Nguyen province with 2.5 tons of goods.
Along with that, the Women's Union of Linh Nam Ward called on all cadres, members, agencies, units, businesses, and people of all walks of life to join hands to support the flood victims in Thai Nguyen province. On the afternoon of October 12, the Women's Union of Linh Nam Ward received over 20 million VND in cash, 600 kg of rice, and many necessities.
