Attending the event were Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council Nguyen Ngoc Tuan; Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha; Vice Chairman of the City People's Council Pham Qui Tien; Vice Chairman of the City People's Council, Deputy Head of the City National Assembly Delegation Pham Thi Thanh Mai.

Recently, due to the impact of storm No. 10 (storm Bualoi) and No. 11 (storm Matmo), heavy rains have occurred in Hanoi, causing flooding in some communes: Da Phuc, Trung Gia, affecting people's lives and socio -economic activities of the city.
The storms caused widespread flooding, severely affected and paralyzed many traffic routes in the suburban areas, affecting more than 3,000 households with over 7,500 people. Of these, nearly 700 households (over 2,000 people) had to be evacuated; about 482 hectares of vegetables and fruit trees were affected; 27 landslides occurred and a number of dike, irrigation and traffic incidents were caused by reverse floods and landslides.
The two communes of Da Phuc and Trung Gia were severely affected, with over 8,000 houses and about 32,000 people inundated, of whom 10,000 had to be evacuated. Floodwaters flooded fields, inundating many traffic routes, including the main route of National Highway 3... Many households also suffered damage to crops and means of production.
With the spirit of "Mutual love and support", "The whole leaves cover the torn leaves", responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front , the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council organized a campaign to support the people of the Capital affected by the two storms to carry out the work of natural disaster prevention and control, and at the same time, join hands to help people stabilize their lives soon.
Each officer, civil servant and employee of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council donated at least one day's salary. The entire donation will be promptly transferred by the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the City People's Council to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi to help overcome the consequences of the storm and flood.
