Long Bien Ward promotes the construction of civilized urban lifestyle

HNP - Responding to the emulation movement "Long Bien Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" in 2025, celebrating the 71st anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2025) and the success of the 1st Congress of Long Bien Ward Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, on October 4, Long Bien Ward held the launching ceremony of the model of "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" Residential Group Cultural House, Sports playground and Volleyball Club at Residential Group No. 16.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Thi Thu Hang - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ward Party Committee; Hoang Hai - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee; Pham Thi Bich Hang - Member of the Standing Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee; Vu Phuong Dong - Member of the Standing Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Ward People's Committee; along with comrades in the Steering Committee of the emulation movement, representatives of departments, unions, residential groups of Emulation Cluster No. 3 and a large number of people of Residential Group 16.

Reporting on the results of the model implementation, the Head of Residential Group 16 of Long Bien Ward said that recently, with the attention of the Party Committee, the People's Committee of the ward and the consensus of the people, the Residential Group has invested in renovating the Cultural House, installing the Internet, an internal communication system, 2 cameras to serve security and order; purchasing tables, chairs, and equipment for community activities. In particular, the area around the Cultural House is decorated with murals, flower pots, and ornamental plants, creating a fresh, spacious, and friendly landscape.

An important highlight is the model of turning an old garbage dump into a sports playground of more than 600 square meters, with a cost of nearly 100 million VND, which has now become a space for community activities, sports practice, and improving the spiritual life of the people.

The lanes and self-managed roads are regularly maintained clean, beautiful and safe. These results have contributed to changing the appearance of residential areas, raising community awareness and building a civilized urban lifestyle.

In the coming time, Residential Groups need to continue to maintain and promote the effectiveness of models, avoid formalities; replicate good practices; associate with building a civilized urban lifestyle, building cultural families, cultural residential groups; at the same time, promote the exemplary role of cadres and party members so that the movement can spread sustainably,” emphasized comrade Vu Phuong Dong.

At the Ceremony, the People's Committee of Long Bien Ward announced the decision to establish and launch the Environmental Sanitation Team of Residential Group 16. The members of the Environmental Sanitation Team introduced themselves, received the decision and expressed their determination to preserve the green - clean - beautiful landscape and environment, contributing to building a civilized residential area.

Along with that, the Volleyball Club of Residential Group 16 was also officially launched. This is a healthy sports playground, gathering a large number of male and female members to practice and compete, contributing to improving health and strengthening the relationship between the village and the neighborhood. Representatives of the ward and residential group leaders gave gifts to encourage and boost the spirit of the club members.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, delegates, officials, party members and people visited the Cultural House, sports ground, took souvenir photos, and joined hands to take care of flower beds and ornamental plants in the campus.

According to Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Long Bien Ward Party Committee Nguyen Thi Thu Hang, the launch of the Cultural House of Residential Group 16 "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" not only has practical significance for community life but is also a vivid demonstration of the consensus and determination of cadres, party members and people of Long Bien Ward. This is also one of the pilot models to be replicated in the area, contributing to the successful implementation of the movement "Long Bien Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" in 2025.
