Dan Hoa Commune: Exciting 1st Sports Festival

HNP - On October 4, at Nguyen Du High School, Dan Hoa commune, the first Sports Congress opened. This is a major, large-scale event, attracting the participation of more than 1,600 delegates, athletes and people from all walks of life.

At the opening ceremony, Chairman of Dan Hoa Commune People's Committee Dinh Huu Binh emphasized that this is an event to welcome the success of the 1st Dan Hoa Commune Party Congress, term 2025-2030; to welcome the 18th Hanoi City Party Congress, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The Congress is also an opportunity to widely propagate the benefits of physical education and sports , encourage people of all walks of life to exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho, promote the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life", and develop traditional and national sports.

The opening ceremony was held solemnly, safely, and properly, with the participation of representatives of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports; leaders of Dan Hoa commune; Secretaries, Village Chiefs; School Boards; and athletes, referees, and youth.

The traditional flame that burned brightly at the Congress not only ignited faith and solidarity but also opened up a new spirit and new motivation, bringing the sports movement of Dan Hoa commune into a stage of comprehensive and sustainable development.

Gymnastics performance at the Opening Ceremony

The 1st Dan Hoa Commune Sports Festival is a festival of the strength of the entire people. This is not only an event to promote the mass sports movement but also an opportunity to discover and nurture outstanding sports talents; it is the basis for the commune to build a force of athletes to compete in higher-level sports tournaments, towards the 11th Capital Sports Festival in 2025.

Representatives of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and leaders of Dan Hoa commune presented souvenir flags to the delegations attending the Congress.

The festival took place in a lively atmosphere with drum performances, lion and dragon dances and gymnastics performances. The performances mobilized a large number of students, members of local cultural and artistic organizations and clubs to participate, creating an exciting, vibrant and proud atmosphere.

Before the official opening ceremony of the 1st Dan Hoa Commune Sports Festival in 2025, Dan Hoa Commune successfully organized a series of competitions from September 13 to 27. The exciting sports atmosphere spread throughout the villages, agencies, and schools. The tournaments were held in 8 subjects: volleyball, table tennis, badminton, lion dance, aerobics, tug of war, leather volleyball, and folk dance.
