On the evening of October 10, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward and officials of relevant departments and units continued to meet and mobilize the remaining 26 households in the two collective housing areas at No. 8 May To and No. 6 Nguyen Trai to hand over the land to serve the Nguyen Trai Bridge Construction Investment Project and urban beautification of the surrounding area.
At the working session, the delegation informed and explained in detail the policies of the Party and State, and encouraged people to promptly hand over the site, contributing to speeding up the progress of key projects, serving the development of infrastructure and urban beautification of the city.
The households expressed their agreement and high consensus with the city's policy in implementing the project, and at the same time recommended that the government pay more attention to the living conditions of people in this area; proposed to be supported to buy social housing or arrange long-term resettlement to soon stabilize their lives, because most of the households are in difficult circumstances.

According to the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen Ward, the land acquisition of 2 apartment buildings at 8 May To and 6 Nguyen Trai with an area of nearly 760 m2 to serve the construction of the Nguyen Trai Bridge Investment Project and urban beautification of the surrounding area has 35 households involved. Through propaganda and mobilization, as of early September 2025, 9 households have agreed to receive money and hand over the site, while 26 households have not agreed. The delay in handing over the site by households directly affects the construction progress of the Nguyen Trai Bridge project.
During the inspection of the progress of several key projects in the city, including the Nguyen Trai Bridge project on September 13, Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau requested that in October, Ngo Quyen Ward must complete site clearance for the remaining area of the two above-mentioned residential areas to ensure the project's progress.
Following the city's direction, Ngo Quyen Ward plans to forcibly recover land from the 26 households mentioned above before October 20, 2025 if they still deliberately refuse to hand over the land. From now until then, the ward will continue to propagate and mobilize households to hand over the land.
