Sharing after finishing, Robben admitted: "I have experienced many challenges in my career, and many times had to try to the end, but this time it was truly a true battle."

The former Dutch footballer said this was his best achievement since trying his hand at marathons: "I'm no longer a professional footballer, but completing a marathon in under three hours is a high-level achievement. It's almost like winning a major football title. It's great to be able to mark that milestone in my new journey."
Initially, Robben set a goal of finishing within a certain time. However, when entering the final kilometers, Robben was forced to change his mind: "At one point, I just thought that I had to survive and finish the first marathon, I couldn't give up."
