From many wards and communes

In Kim Long ward - a place that bears many traditional values of Hue , the "Green Sunday" movement has become a prominent highlight. Responding to the peak period launched by the city, hundreds of union members, association members and local people have simultaneously joined forces to clean up the environment, clear the flow, and clean every street corner and road.

Ms. Dang Thi Lai, a resident of Kim Long ward, shared: "We not only clean up trash, but also want to put our feelings into every little thing, to make the streets cleaner and more beautiful, to celebrate the city's important event."

The government and people of An Cuu ward have jointly renovated the urban area and planted new trees. The central roads are now spacious and airy. Everyone is excited when the urban landscape changes day by day. Ms. Hoang Thi Nhu Thanh, Chairwoman of An Cuu Ward People's Committee, said: "We consider each project and each newly renovated street as a practical gift to welcome the congress. People also join in, from renovating their houses to voluntarily hanging the national flag and cleaning in front of their houses."

In Khe Tre, since the beginning of July, the Commune Party Committee has issued a plan to successfully organize grassroots congresses, perfect the political apparatus, and establish document subcommittees. Propaganda work has been promoted. The highest goal of the preparation work is to create a profound political atmosphere among cadres, party members and people. The locality has diversified propaganda forms, from visual propaganda with flags, billboards, posters, to posting information on social media channels. Emulation movements have been launched to arouse patriotism and strengthen people's confidence in the important political event that only occurs once every five years.

Along with that is the movement to beautify the landscape. From the "Green Sunday" held simultaneously in 19/19 villages and residential groups, to the general cleaning and planting of flowers along the roads; all create a bustling atmosphere. People enthusiastically participate because everyone understands that this is an opportunity to show solidarity, contributing to making the homeland more spacious before the big event.

Ms. Phan Tran Quyen, a resident of Khe Tre commune, shared: In recent years, her hometown has changed significantly, especially in terms of infrastructure: Many roads have been concreted, making travel more convenient. Electricity and clean water systems have also been expanded. Cultural and spiritual life is richer than before. However, Khe Tre still faces difficulties in terms of employment and income. We hope that in the coming time, there will be more strong development to shorten the distance to the center of Hue city.

This important political event marks the opening of a new development phase with strategic vision, steadfastness and aspirations of Hue city. The Party Committee, government and people of Khe Tre expect that breakthrough policies on infrastructure investment, tourism - service development, science and technology, digital transformation, preservation and promotion of cultural values will be materialized in the coming time.

Spread everywhere

In the mild weather of late autumn, the roads in Phu Loc commune are brilliant with bright red flags and many flowers are gradually blooming, making the countryside scene come alive with new vitality. There, there are not only flags and flowers but also joy and pride of the people who are joining hands to build their homeland.

In Hoa Mau village, the paths now have neat flower beds, rose bushes, bougainvillea, wallflowers, peonies... blooming. In the middle of the road, the people here work together to sweep, hoe, and take care of the flower plants - seemingly small jobs but contributing to great changes.

Mr. Truong Ngoc Ly, Head of Hoa Mau village, with a bright look in his eyes as he pointed to the road section that had just been developed into a flag-lined road, said: “In the past, the country roads were still in many shabby places. Everyone wanted to change, but it was not until the flag-lined road movement was launched that that wish became a reality. People contributed money, people contributed labor, businesses supported materials, flowers, etc. Everyone shared the same wish to make their homeland more spacious and brilliant.”

In just a short time, Hoa Mau people have donated more than 225 million VND and many days of labor. Each brick and each flower pot bears the mark of sweat and love for the homeland of the people.

Not only a short stretch on the day of launching the movement to build the flag-flower road, Hoa Mau has had detailed plans for many routes. Notably, the main axis is 1.6km long from the village gate to Mu Phong dam, where 186 flower beds and ornamental plants are planned to be built. The routes from Khe Thi bridge to Bau Sen bridge, from Chang bridge to Bau Sen, or the road to Me hamlet are also gradually included in the plan.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tan, a resident of Hoa Mau village, confided: “Everyone wants the country road to be spacious, so no one is afraid of the hardship or loss. Everyone contributes to planting flowers and taking care of the flag-lined road. The village committee, village organizations and the people are all united in mind and effort. We hope the movement will spread to other villages, so that the whole commune and the whole city will be more beautiful. Beautiful scenery but also beautiful village and neighborly love.”

Hoa Mau is not the only village in Phu Loc commune that has a flag-and-flower road. The movement's influence is spreading to many other villages and residential groups. Familiar roads are gradually being oriented to change, wearing a new, colorful coat. Chairman of Phu Loc Commune People's Committee - Mr. Nguyen Van Hiep informed: The consensus of the people is the greatest strength. Besides the role of orientation, support, and resource mobilization, the people are the main force creating today's appearance. We will continue to expand the model, both building a bright - green - clean - beautiful new countryside and creating more highlights to attract tourists, improving people's lives. Through the program, the government and the people are increasingly united, joining hands to build a more prosperous and civilized homeland.

Leaving Phu Loc commune, the image of the road filled with flags and flowers is still imprinted in our minds. It is not only a work to beautify the landscape, but also a symbol of community spirit, belief and unity of the people. As the people here shared: The roads full of flags and bright flowers not only beautify the landscape, but also bring a fresh look to the countryside. There, each flag, each flower bush encapsulates the feelings and cooperation of the people along with the care and direction of the Party Committee and the government, making us believe more and more that one day in the near future, Hue will have many more beautiful roads, originating from the love for the homeland of each person.

In Thuan An ward - the gateway to the sea, these days have become bustling differently. The coastal road has just been renovated, the green casuarina trees stretch along with the rows of spacious houses, bringing a new look to the white sand area. Fisherman Tran Van Cuong, Hai Tien residential group, confided: "We both stick to the sea and join hands to clean the sandbank, collect plastic waste. A cleaner beach, neatly anchored boats are also a way for us fishermen to welcome the Congress."

The joy of coastal residents is multiplied as the bridge across Thuan An estuary is entering the completion stage. The bridge not only connects the two banks, but also opens up opportunities for tourism and service development for the entire region.

On the long sandy beach, anchored at the foot of the waves, the image of groups of fishermen after a trip out to sea, working with the authorities to clean up, plant flowers along the roadside, and repaint community activity spots has become a familiar beauty.

From the urban center to the coastal fishing villages… all are joining in the same rhythm in preparation for the important political event. That is the belief, the aspiration for a new term with many positive changes, so that Hue can both preserve its identity and firmly step on the path of development.
