Flowers in the mountain temple

Many mountain ranges with forests covered in purple-pink color of Lagerstroemia flowers have created spectacular and poetic scenes, like gifts from nature to travelers on the long journey.

In Nha Trang today, wild purple flowers are blooming on the slopes of Chin Khuc mountain, adding to the simple yet poetic beauty of a temple on a high mountain. Lagerstroemia is a wild tree that grows in dry, rocky places without needing care. Every season in the 5th lunar month, dense clusters of flowers bloom brilliantly with a purple color mixed with pink.

Phap Son Pagoda is located in Dat Lanh village, Vinh Thai commune, Nha Trang, is an ancient pagoda overlooking the sea.

Each flower of the Lagerstroemia has 6 delicate petals and a beautiful flower shape, with an unusual arrangement, growing in clusters of 20 - 30cm at the tips of the branches. The Lagerstroemia fruit is spherical, 1.5 - 2cm in diameter, initially the fruit is quite soft and has a light purple-green color, when it is old it is hard and has a brown color like wood. Besides the Royal Poinciana, the purple Lagerstroemia flower is also a flower of school age.
