Samsung is about to produce the first folding screen for Apple

According to BGR , the report said that despite its lead in OLED panels, Samsung aims to secure Apple orders for future foldable display products as both Samsung and LG are working on projects for Apple's foldable display products, including a 20.25-inch panel.

Several reports corroborate this futuristic device. Analysts believe Apple is working on an iPad/MacBook hybrid with a 20-inch foldable display, which could be released as early as 2026.

In 2022, DSCC analyst Ross Young shares that suppliers are in talks with Apple to create a 20-inch foldable display. The company's idea is to combine the usefulness of a laptop with a single screen like what users might see on an iPad.

The device can function as a laptop with a full-size keyboard, and can also function as a standalone display when not folded or used with an external keyboard. Young also said the device can offer resolutions up to 4K or higher.

For his part, in his Power On newsletter, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman corroborated Young's reports when he said Apple will use a 20-inch foldable display with a physical or virtual keyboard on one side of the folding display.
