Bonsai auction to support the "Fund for the poor" of Van Giang commune

On the morning of October 5, the People's Committee of Van Giang commune held a conference to announce the decision to establish the Van Giang Commune Ornamental Plants Association (VOA).

The Van Giang Commune Flower and Ornamental Plants Association is a social organization that brings together artisans, gardeners, and producers of flower and ornamental plants to help each other develop flower and ornamental plant activities in the commune. Currently, 84 members of the Association are managing more than 100 flower and ornamental plant gardens in and outside the commune with a total area of ​​over 10 hectares.

At the conference, 3 bonsai trees were auctioned, raising 91 million VND to support the Fund “For the Poor” of Van Giang commune. Ngoc Thoan gardener donated 50 million VND to the Fund “For the Poor” of the commune.

Previously, the Van Giang Commune Bonsai Association organized an exhibition of nearly 200 bonsai trees from October 1 to 10. This was an opportunity for artisans and gardeners to exchange experiences in producing and trading bonsai trees; honoring the creative labor achievements of artisans and workers.
