Da Nang Airport welcomes record number of flights before fireworks final

A day before the final round of the fireworks festival, Da Nang International Airport recorded a record number of arrivals: 171. Hotel occupancy also reached nearly 100%.

Specifically, according to data recorded on July 11, the day before the fireworks finale, there were 171 flights landing at Da Nang airport. This number was 159 flights last year - also a "record" in the tourist season for many years.

Data from the units also showed that there were 98,000 guests booking accommodation at facilities in Da Nang City, an increase of 6.4% over the same period in 2024.

Notably, the number of international guests booking rooms during this time increased by 81%, while domestic guests increased by 18%. Hotels in coastal areas and city centers are almost fully booked.

According to schedule, at 8:00 p.m. tonight, July 12, the final round of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival will take place with performances by team Z121 Vina Pyrotech (Vietnam) and team Jiangxi Yangfeng (China).

Z121 Vina Pyrotech entered the final night with a work titled "Message of peace ".

Using about 7,000 fireworks, the Ministry of National Defense fireworks team promises to bring a brilliant, eye-catching performance, meeting the expectations and feelings of the audience. The performance includes four fireworks shows, with constantly changing colors and music.

Meanwhile, the Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Display fireworks team (China) used a playlist of 10 songs to play as background music for their performance in the final night. Notably, the team chose the song Bac Bling, which is currently causing a stir on social networks, to perform, showing their sophistication and receptiveness in approaching local culture.
