Enhancing the brand of rural industrial products

Da Nang has 2 products certified as typical rural industry at the national level in 2025. Thereby affirming the prestige and quality of the city's strong products and creating an opportunity for production units to continue to develop their brands.

On October 3, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held the 6th ceremony to honor and award certificates for outstanding national rural industrial products in 2025. This year's voting period recorded 108 outstanding products and product sets being honored.

Among the products honored this time, there are 2 products from Da Nang city including: "Mayaca M4 Coffee" (MAYACA Coffee Company Limited, Lien Chieu Ward) and "Brown rice and seaweed bars" (Duy Oanh Green Agriculture Cooperative, Duy Xuyen Commune).

“Mayaca M4” coffee is a pure roasted coffee product, without additives, bringing a sweet, slightly sour and less bitter taste, balanced, processed by advanced roasting technology, expressing a creative spirit suitable for many brewing methods such as machine brewing, filter brewing, paper filter... The coffee has a reddish brown color, average caffeine content.

Mayaca Coffee Company Limited is a unit specializing in the production and supply of ground coffee beans in Da Nang, with the orientation of building a comprehensive and synchronous coffee ecosystem for coffee business models in Vietnam. The annual production volume reaches 12.5 tons, with the main consumption market being more than 80% domestic, the rest is for export.

Mr. Ho Duc Tien, Director of the company, said that with 10 years of experience, Mayaca aims for sustainable development, expanding domestic and foreign markets, promoting the export of green coffee beans and freeze-dried coffee, affirming the position of Vietnamese coffee on the world map. The company owns a sustainable supply chain of raw materials, with organic coffee selected from farms in Gia Lai.

“This award is a recognition of product quality and a “passport” for businesses to enter the big playground. To win this award, products must pass a thorough selection and evaluation process from the provincial, regional to national levels,” Mr. Tien shared.

Meanwhile, the product “Brown rice and seaweed bars” is a nutritional product using locally available ingredients, grown by farmers in Duy Xuyen area. The product is a combination of healthy ingredients found in brown rice, white sesame and Cu Lao Cham seaweed.

Currently, Duy Oanh Green Agriculture Cooperative operates in the field of producing local agricultural products; growing and linking production of rice, sesame, beans, lotus seeds, etc.

Ms. Pham Thi Duy My, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors and Director of the cooperative, said that the unit was established in April 2023 and has 7 members with the goal of linking production in agriculture, contributing to promoting and developing the community economy. For many years, the cooperative's products have been of good quality and have a reputation in the market.

In 2023, Duy Oanh Green Agriculture Cooperative has 2 products "Duy Oanh cereal powder" and "Brown rice and seaweed bars" achieving 4-star OCOP certification, and these 2 products also achieved certification as typical rural industrial products at the provincial level.

By 2024, the product "Brown rice and seaweed bars" will win the award for outstanding rural industrial products in the Central Highlands region... To achieve the above results, the cooperative focuses on linking production in agriculture to improve land and water resources, as well as creating output for local clean raw materials.

“After being honored as a national outstanding rural industrial product, the cooperative has more confidence to bring local agricultural products further, gradually conquering the domestic market and aiming for export.

Thanks to the policies of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the City People's Committee and the Department of Industry and Trade, we are supported to promote our products and participate in many large trade fairs. This is an effective promotion channel, helping us reach consumers more deeply. In the coming time, we will continue to innovate, be flexible in production and develop products of the best quality," said Ms. My.

The national award for outstanding rural industrial products represents the identity and aspirations of the Vietnamese rural business community.

The success of the two rural industrial establishments in Da Nang is not only a source of pride, but also a clear demonstration of the effectiveness of the industrial promotion program in promoting digital transformation, green transformation and international integration. This is also a driving force for Da Nang to continue to have more local products to go further in the domestic and international markets.
