Youth of Nam Giang International Border Gate Border Guard Station join hands for the border community

DNO - From October 3 to 5, the Youth Union of Nam Giang International Border Gate Border Guard Station coordinated with La De Commune Youth Union to organize the "Volunteer March" program in 2025 in Dac Cho Day village (La De Commune).

Captain Tran Phuoc Quang, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Nam Giang International Border Gate Border Guard Station, said that during the 3 days of the program, the young union members and soldiers participated in many practical activities, contributing to supporting local people to stabilize their lives and improve their living environment.

Specifically, the volunteer force leveled, cleared, and repaired 5km of rural roads; cleaned and beautified the environmental landscape; consolidated fruit gardens to help 3 households in especially difficult circumstances, and supported the harvest of the winter-spring rice crop for 2 households.

In addition, the delegation organized medical examination and treatment for 5 policy beneficiaries; propagated disease prevention and control, food hygiene and safety; gave free haircuts to 15 people; gave life jackets to 7 union members and children; and presented 20 national flags and Uncle Ho's pictures to households in the village.

* Previously, on October 3, the Nam Giang International Border Guard Station organized the Mid-Autumn Festival program "Borderline enjoys full moon festival" at La Dee Kindergarten with many exciting activities such as lion dance, art exchange, games and giving Mid-Autumn gifts to 125 children, with a total gift value of nearly 8 million VND.
