With a series of synchronous solutions from digital transformation to market expansion and improving operational efficiency, the enterprise aims to complete the double-digit growth plan, maintaining its pivotal role in supplying goods and stabilizing the market in Ho Chi Minh City.

Tighten costs, diversify business directions

One of the solutions that SATRA is interested in is reducing input costs while improving operational efficiency. Some specific initiatives and solutions that this enterprise has implemented include: Replacing new equipment systems (freezers, refrigerators) to save electricity; investing in solar power for shopping centers. This retail system also completes the logistics chain in a streamlined, modern and efficient direction; prioritizing essential goods and private labels with high profit margins while renegotiating with suppliers to get the most competitive prices...

At the same time, SATRA promotes salary autonomy for units in the retail system, reduces the cost burden for the entire system, aims for sustainable revenue-expenditure balance, optimizes resources and improves operational efficiency of the entire system.

Notably, in the first 9 months of 2025, SATRA has deployed more than 130 mobile sales trips, promptly bringing essential consumer goods and market stabilization to people in remote areas and workers in export processing zones and industrial parks in Ho Chi Minh City. Thanks to that, mobile sales revenue increased by 213% over the same period. This result contributes to affirming the key role of the enterprise in ensuring the supply of goods and stabilizing prices. At the same time, through this activity, the enterprise has clearly demonstrated its social responsibility, accompanying the community, and best serving the essential shopping needs of the people.

In addition, the SATRA retail system also maintains its role as a bridge between manufacturers and consumers, ensuring the supply of high-quality goods at preferential prices to serve city consumers. The system has implemented many promotional programs to increase purchasing power, as well as serve consumers well, distributing 128 OCOP products from 32 suppliers. Total revenue of OCOP products in 9 months increased by 145% over the same period.

Digitalize and promote the chain of links to accelerate to the finish line

A representative of the SATRA retail system said that from now until the end of the year, they will continue to focus on implementing key strategies, determined to bring the program "Promoting and developing the SATRA retail chain in the period 2021-2025" to the finish line soon, thereby affirming their position in the retail market.

Identifying digital transformation as a key task, the enterprise has promoted many key projects in this field such as "Upgrading Satra Bonus application" to increase convenience and customer experience. The retail system has put into use the software "Input invoice automation" integrated with the Microsoft Dynamics AX system to automate the data entry process, increase productivity and reduce costs for the enterprise.

SATRA has been testing the AI ​​camera system at a number of stores and shopping malls. The company considers this an important step in the digital transformation roadmap, demonstrating its determination to apply modern technology to enhance security, optimize management and improve customer service quality. At the same time, the company has completed and put into use the E-Learning system for its affiliated units, contributing to standardizing the training process and improving the effectiveness of human resource training, in line with the digital transformation policy.

In addition, SATRA continues to promote the chain of links, focusing on efficiency and sustainability. For external links, SATRA increases the search and expansion of sales channels. The system coordinates with green businesses, businesses participating in the "Green Responsibility" program to build stimulus programs, promote products, and contribute to sustainable market development.

SATRA representative said that the company will continue to strengthen close ties with signed strategic partners, regularly update actual needs to build pricing policies, discounts and product portfolios suitable to the scale, standards and operational characteristics of each partner. Thereby, SATRA and its partners can optimize business efficiency, while establishing long-term, sustainable cooperative relationships, ensuring harmonious interests and mutual development.

SATRA expects to boost retail sales, improve operational efficiency and restructure the retail system to create more power and strength to gain competitive advantage in the retail market. “This is also the premise for SATRA to affirm its position as the main distribution channel of Ho Chi Minh City, accompanying the city and the whole country to achieve the economic growth target of 8.3% this year and double-digit growth in the following years,” the business representative affirmed.
