Exciting Welcome Day for New Students of Diplomatic Academy 2025

The Welcome Day for New Students is an annual program organized by the Diplomatic Academy Student Association with the aim of bringing rich experiences to new students, with three main parts: Welcome Ceremony for the new school year 2025 - 2026, DAV Club Fair and Gala Night.

In her opening speech, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thin, Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy, expressed her pride and confidence in the new generation of students.

Dr. Ha Anh Tuan, Acting Dean of the Faculty of International Politics and Diplomacy, advised: “Pioneering spirit, responsibility and willingness to commit will be the tools for you to go far in the future.”

Deputy Chief of Office of the Diplomatic Academy Duong Thanh Binh said: "This is the period when the Diplomatic Academy has made many strides, you should take advantage of that 'golden' time to strive to develop and improve yourself."

At the ceremony, the valedictorians of the 52nd regular university course and the joint training program were honored and received certificates of merit amidst the applause of the Academy’s lecturers and students. In the solemn atmosphere, representatives of the new students expressed their emotions and gratitude to the school, sharing their sincere feelings after the first weeks in the lecture hall.

The special highlight of the Festival is the diverse and unique booths of the Student Association, Youth Union and more than 30 clubs, teams and groups.

In the ASEAN Square, there were performances combined with carefully prepared introductory videos. Each performance had its own personality and identity, symbolizing the enthusiasm, dynamism and creativity of the Academy's student community.

Closing the program was the Gala Night, where the new students met many famous guest artists such as male rapper SIXTYUPTOWN with three hits “Hanoi girl”, “Nang oi” and “Tranh duong cho trai dep di qua” and artist Vu through a series of songs “Anh nho ra”, “Binh yen”, “Buoc qua nhau”, “Nhung cau hu bo quen” and “La lan”.
