Sony launches new high-end smartphone Xperia 1 VII in Vietnam

Sony has just officially announced the premium smartphone Xperia 1 VII, developed with engineers from Alpha digital cameras, Walkman music players and BRAVIA TVs, integrating the advanced technologies that have made Sony's iconic devices famous.

In particular, Xperia 1 VII brings a completely new shooting experience on smartphones, with breakthrough features AI Camerawork and Auto Framing, allowing stable, standard-framed videos to be recorded even when users take their eyes off the screen.

New Features: AI Camerawork and Auto Framing

AI Camerawork helps create professional-looking videos with a stable frame, keeping the subject centered even as you move around and record moving objects. This technology combines powerful anti-shake with pose analysis to ensure the relative position of the subject is always stable, making it possible for anyone to shoot sharp, professional videos.

In addition, Auto Framing uses AI to recognize and automatically align the frame, bringing the subject to the center. When filming a moving object, the user only needs to point the camera towards the area where the subject is, the system will automatically track and record without having to chase it yourself. Auto Framing also allows simultaneous recording of two videos: a panoramic video and a close-up video focusing on the subject.

The Xperia 1 VII features a triple rear camera, including a new 16mm ultra-wide-angle lens with a 48MP 1/1.56-inch sensor - approximately 2.1x larger than the previous generation. This allows for night shots that are as clear as a full-frame camera, with low noise and a wide dynamic range. It has minimal distortion and can shoot close-ups as close as 5cm away, allowing for impressive macro photography.

In addition to the audio-focused circuit design, Xperia also incorporates new components proven to work on Walkman devices, significantly improving sound quality when using wired headphones, delivering clarity like listening on a dedicated music player.

The Xperia 1 VII integrates accessibility features when using the camera, such as a function that provides horizontal measurement information on the capture screen via sound and vibration. Android's 'TalkBack' feature is also improved by Sony, allowing menus to be read in order of frequency of use, helping users quickly access commonly used functions.

To enhance the display experience in bright light conditions, an additional light sensor has been integrated on the back of the Xperia 1 VII.

In terms of configuration, the product is equipped with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, with NPU, CPU and GPU improved by more than 40%, supporting fast AI processing when shooting and playing games, while reducing battery consumption.

In the Vietnamese market, Xperia 1 VII will be sold in three colors: Moss Green, Purple and Quartz Black with a listed price of 34.99 million VND.
