What does the SYM VFE185i 2025 have to challenge the Yamaha Exciter and Honda Winner?
SYM in Malaysia has officially launched the 2025 version of the VFE185i manual clutch motorcycle. This is considered a rival of the Yamaha Exciter and Honda Winner.

SYM VFE185i 2025 is the latest manual clutch model of the Taiwanese motorcycle brand, the vehicle was just introduced at the same time as two other scooter models, SYM Cruisym 400i and SYM Naga 155 in the Malaysian market. In this new 2025 version, the VFE185i manual transmission motorbike in the Malaysian market is distributed with three color options including white, green and blue, while other equipment does not have many changes.
The new SYM VFE185i 2025 is equipped with a lighting system that uses LED technology and a fully digital instrument cluster. The vehicle is also integrated with a smart lock system, increasing convenience and security . In addition, users can also charge mobile devices via the USB Type-A port that supports QC 3.0 fast charging on the SYM VFE185i 2025 in front of the user. The chassis equipment of the VFE185i is also quite impressive in the segment. At the front, the vehicle uses telescopic forks with a travel of up to 185 mm. At the rear is a monoshock with adjustable preload.
The vehicle uses single disc brakes for both wheels, with the front disc measuring 250 mm in diameter and the rear disc 200 mm. In particular, this model is equipped with a standard dual-channel anti-lock braking system, helping to increase safety during operation. SYM VFE185i uses 17-inch rims, comes with 90/80 tires in the front and 120/80 in the rear. The vehicle has a seat height of 800 mm, a fuel tank capacity of 7 liters and a dry weight of 135 kg, suitable for many users, including those new to manual transmission vehicles. In terms of power, the SYM VFE185i manual transmission motorbike uses a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, 183 cc, single camshaft (SOHC) engine. The engine on this model produces a maximum capacity of 19.7 horsepower at 9,000 rpm, and maximum torque of 17.46 Nm at 7,500 rpm.
The EFI electronic fuel injection system ensures fuel economy, while power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a 6-speed gearbox and chain drive system. The official selling price of SYM VFE185i 2025 in the Malaysian market is 9,988 ringgit (equivalent to about 62.5 million VND, currently there is no information that this model will come to Vietnam to compete with Yamaha Exciter and Honda Winner.
