A daring car theft just happened in Makrana, Rajasthan (India), when a luxury Mercedes-Benz ML-Class SUV was stolen right in front of a hotel. The whole incident happened in less than a minute and was recorded by security cameras.

According to the clip shared by Mr. Tyagi on social media, a masked man initially approached the parking area, where a Hyundai Creta and a Mercedes-Benz SUV were parked side by side. The thief skillfully squeezed through the narrow gap between the car and the wall to avoid being noticed, and quickly approached the Mercedes.
After looking around, the thief used the tools he had brought to pry open the door. Surprisingly, the car's anti-theft system did not sound an alarm. Although a nearby dog barked continuously, no one came to intervene.

After just a few steps, the door lock was broken, he climbed in, successfully started the car and backed out neatly onto the road. The whole process, from the time he approached until the driver left, only lasted about 60 seconds.
The incident shows that the methods of car thieves are becoming more sophisticated and professional, especially targeting luxury cars. Security experts recommend that vehicle owners should increase protection measures such as installing additional alarm systems or GPS.
