Previously, on the evening of January 25, a video clip of more than 2 minutes long appeared on social networks, livestreamed by the father himself on his personal page, showing off that his son drove home by himself.

"Today, dad drank alcohol and the youngest son drove him home", "I am your son, so I have to drive you home every time you are drunk. I am reporting to you, I am only 12 years old and in 6th grade" - the father said in the video.

Immediately after receiving the information, the Road and Railway Traffic Patrol and Control Department (Traffic Police Department) sent officers and soldiers to verify and investigate the incident.

During the verification process, the authorities identified the man in the clip as LNL (born in 1981, residing in Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province). Mr. L. is also the owner of the car with license plate 30K-792.XX.

At the police station, Mr. LNL said the incident happened at Cau Coi (Vu Hoi commune, Vu Thu district, Thai Binh province).

According to Mr. L., at around 6 p.m., he was driving his car with his son near Cau Coi area when the car broke down. While the tow truck was towing the car, Mr. L. let his son sit in the driver's seat and told him that he would take a video of his son driving the car for fun.

Mr. L. also admitted that he filmed and posted the video on social media just for fun. He himself realized that his act of posting false information was wrong and caused public confusion.
