Tay Ninh: Fishing in a boat at night, 1 person missing

As of the evening of October 13, Tay Ninh province authorities were still coordinating with local people to actively search for the missing man on the river in Tan Thanh commune.

People continue to search for victims.

According to initial information, in the early morning of the same day, Mr. NPX, 39 years old, residing in Dong Thap province, and his brother-in-law rowed a boat out to the river to fish (each person took a boat). When moving to the middle of the river, Mr. X's boat suddenly hit a buoy, causing the bow of the boat to break and he fell into the water, missing. The brother-in-law immediately turned back to search, at the same time calling for rescue assistance from local people. However, due to the strong currents and the time of the incident at night, the initial search was fruitless.

Upon receiving the news, the authorities quickly arrived, cordoned off the river area where the incident occurred, organized a search using motorboats, lights and nets along both banks, and notified households along the river to assist in observation.

The search is still underway. Authorities continue to investigate and clarify the cause of the incident.
