Thai Nguyen celebrates 100 years of Vietnam Revolutionary Press, summarizes 10 years of implementing Directive 05-CT/TW

(PLVN) - On the morning of June 18, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee solemnly held a ceremony to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day and summarize 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the 12th Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle. The event was not only an opportunity to review the glorious tradition but also demonstrated the political determination to inherit and promote the value of Ho Chi Minh's ideology and the spirit of revolutionary journalism.

Thai Nguyen is proud to be the cradle of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism, the birthplace of the Vietnam Journalists Association , the Huynh Thuc Khang Journalism School (the first place to train journalists of the young Democratic Republic of Vietnam), the place where a number of central press agencies such as Nhan Dan Newspaper, People's Army Newspaper were established and first operated... The press has become an important arm on the ideological front, strongly and effectively influencing the revolutionary movement, contributing to orienting ideology, encouraging all classes of people in the cause of national liberation struggle, building and defending the Fatherland.

Through historical periods, Thai Nguyen province currently has three professional press agencies operating in four types including print, audio, visual and electronic newspapers, creating a dynamic and modern press ecosystem.

In addition, more than 30 central press agencies have set up representative offices or assigned resident reporters in Thai Nguyen. Many other major press agencies also regularly send reporters to work and closely follow political, economic, cultural and social events in the province.

Over 10 years of implementation, the entire Thai Nguyen province has built and maintained more than 4,000 good models and effective ways of studying and following Uncle Ho. More than 11,800 outstanding collectives and individuals have been recognized and rewarded, demonstrating a wide spread in all aspects of life.

Practical models such as "100 Dong House", "Love Wardrobe", "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful Roads" and thousands of other concrete actions have demonstrated the effectiveness of studying and following Uncle Ho in practice, from rural to urban areas, from grassroots to provincial level.

At the same time, the province is also preparing for the new term of Party congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.
