Delegation of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress went on a field trip

On October 12, three delegations attending the 1st Congress of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, term 2025-2030, visited and experienced the reality in three areas: the center of Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong , Ba Ria - Vung Tau (formerly).

This is an important activity, helping delegates attending the congress have more comprehensive information about the conditions, potentials, advantages, opportunities and challenges in the development process of Ho Chi Minh City in the new era.

Joining the delegation to visit and experience the reality in Binh Duong area were comrade Van Thi Bach Tuyet, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee and members of delegation groups 9, 10, 11 and 12.

In Binh Duong province (formerly), the delegation learned about the breakthrough development model from a purely agricultural area to become a leading industrial and urban center in the country, with a complete transportation and regional connection system, and a modern industrial - urban - service ecosystem.

There are currently 29 industrial parks in operation in the area, with an occupancy rate of over 80% and an urbanization rate of over 85%.

This place is recognized by the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) as a community with a global exemplary smart city development strategy. The area is also gradually forming an ecosystem of innovation, science - technology , digital transformation, creating a foundation for sustainable development of the entire Southeast region.

During the study trip, the delegation visited, experienced, and learned about the transportation system and industrial infrastructure in the area, with successful models such as VSIP Industrial Park, My Phuoc, Binh Duong Industrial - Urban - Service Complex...; visited Becamex Group - a leading state-owned enterprise in the field of transportation, industrial and urban infrastructure.

The delegation also visited the Vietnam Dairy Factory (Vinamilk), a typical private enterprise in digital transformation and green transformation, vividly demonstrating the spirit of promoting the role of the private economy in the spirit of Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo.

The field trip helped delegates gain more practical information, strengthen their confidence and enthusiasm, contributing to the success of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
