Ho Chi Minh City: Introducing study abroad opportunities where many leading corporations are headquartered

Ireland is home to more than 1,800 multinational corporations, including famous corporations such as Google, Apple, Meta, Microsoft, Pfizer, Johnson & Johnson, Citi Bank... so the learning environment in this country is considered to have a "good output" compared to many countries for Vietnamese international students.

Not only that, as a country in the top 20 in the world in terms of education , Ireland has quickly grasped the trend of shifting fields of study to suit the high-quality labor market.

Education in Ireland representative affirmed that Ireland is not only a livable place but also a very interesting learning environment.

Accordingly, students were introduced to the shift from traditional economic fields to the fields of cyber security, technology, engineering, medicine, financial technology and interdisciplinary science... fields that are forecasted to have high human resource demand and open career prospects in the future.

Also at the exhibition, attendees in Ho Chi Minh City were introduced in detail about 100% scholarships granted by the Irish government and Embassy to Vietnamese students. International experts also discussed and answered questions related to career orientation when choosing a major. Issues related to working part-time while studying abroad that many students are interested in were also clearly answered.

Vietnamese students were directly consulted on issues of concern to them regarding studying in Ireland at the exhibition.

Representative from Ireland, Ms. Jayanthi Therajavah, Head of Education in Ireland, ASEAN region, said that the Irish Government also issued many attractive support policies, including visas to stay and work after graduation: master's and doctoral students are allowed to stay for 2 years, and bachelor's students are allowed to stay for 1 year.

According to Ms. Vo Hang Nga, Director of SmartA Consulting and Training Joint Stock Company, a partner of Irish universities, with this education exhibition, Ireland hopes to attract more Vietnamese students to the “European Silicon Valley”. This is also an opportunity for Vietnamese students to access one of the leading educational-economic environments in Europe, accumulate international experience, and then return to make practical contributions to the development of the country.
