Government Inspectorate launched a campaign to support people to overcome damage caused by storms and floods.

Responding to the call of the Party, State and Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, on the morning of October 14, the Government Inspectorate organized a fundraising ceremony to support people to overcome damage caused by storms and floods.

The launching ceremony aims to promptly call on civil servants, public employees and workers of the Government Inspectorate to promote the spirit of "mutual love and support" and join hands to help people in localities that have suffered losses. The ceremony was chaired by the Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong said that in September and October 2025 alone, our country suffered 5 consecutive storms; in particular, storms No. 10 (Bualoi) and No. 11 (Matmo) had a huge impact, along with prolonged floods causing heavy damage to people and property in many localities in the Northern and Central regions.

Storm No. 10 has caused great damage to people and property, rice and crops were flooded and damaged; many traffic routes, schools, medical facilities, public works were damaged..., many households and individuals need support and help. The consequences of Storm No. 10 have not been overcome yet, the circulation after Storm No. 11 has continued to become a serious natural disaster when causing floods on a large scale in many localities, with especially dangerous types of natural disasters, floods exceeding history causing inundation and flash floods, landslides, serious damage to life, property and dikes, reservoirs and essential infrastructure.

At the launching ceremony, on behalf of the Party Committee and leaders of the Government Inspectorate, the Government Inspector General Doan Hong Phong launched and called on each unit, individual cadre, party member, civil servant, public employee, and worker of the Government Inspectorate to contribute at least 1 day's salary each to support people severely affected by the storm, reduce difficulties, stabilize their lives soon, continue working, producing, and contributing to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

The Government Inspector General assigned the Party Committee Office, the Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission to coordinate with the Government Inspectorate Office to continue advising on the dissemination and widespread implementation to departments, bureaus and units under the Government Inspectorate to participate in responding to this campaign. At the same time, promptly synthesize and report the results to the Central Relief Mobilization Commission, the Government Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and promptly carry out procedures in accordance with instructions and regulations, without making any mistakes.
