Two more universities plan university admission methods in 2026

(NLDO)- Some universities in Ho Chi Minh City have just announced their university admission methods in 2026 as well as opening new majors.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Duc Trung, Principal of Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City, said that in 2026 university enrollment, the school will maintain the same admission methods as in 2025 and open 3 new majors including: Chinese language; insurance; hotel management, restaurant and food service.

The expected methods applied by Banking University of Ho Chi Minh City for the 2026 university entrance exam include:

Method 1 : Direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Conduct direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; direct admission and priority admission policies are in the school's admission plan.

Method 2 : Admission based on combined academic results and high school achievements.

Method 3 : Admission based on the results of the 2026 V-SAT computer-based university entrance exam.

Method 4 : Admission method based on high school graduation exam results in 2026.

In 2026, Hung Vuong University, Ho Chi Minh City also plans to have 3 admission methods, including: Considering the 2026 high school graduation exam scores according to the subject group; considering the 12th grade transcript results; considering the results of the 2026 capacity assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University.

Also in 2026, the school plans to open a number of new majors including: Artificial Intelligence, Nursing, and Electronic and Telecommunications Engineering Technology.
