Viettel expands into logistics sector in Laos with Unitel Logistics brand
The Military Industry and Telecommunications Group (Viettel) launched the Unitel Logistics brand in Laos, marking a shift from telecommunications to logistics and international transport infrastructure. Unitel Logistics was formed from the cooperation between Viettel Post Laos and Unitel, aiming to provide comprehensive logistics services, applying comprehensive digital technology .

In the first phase, Unitel Logistics invested in three large logistics centers, six bonded warehouses at border gates and more than 1,500 transaction points nationwide. The multimodal transport network includes road, rail and air, connecting directly with key economic centers in the region.
The project targets a 32% annual growth rate until 2033, contributing to reducing Laos’ logistics costs, creating more than 30,000 jobs and expanding infrastructure to remote areas. This is a strategic step to help Viettel become a global business technology group, while promoting Vietnam-Laos economic cooperation in the digital age.

Vivo launches OriginOS 6 with integrated AI
On October 16, Vivo officially announced OriginOS 6 - the company's most advanced operating system, marking a turning point in the AI era.
In collaboration with Google, OriginOS 6 integrates technologies such as Gemini and Circle to Search. The Origin Island feature displays real-time status and enables quick operations such as Copy & Go, Drag & Go. AI supports photo editing, document processing, content creation and device connectivity via Office Kit.
OriginOS 6 focuses on optimizing the smoothness from visual to user experience. The 8+1 Ultra-Core Computing system helps launch applications 18.5% faster, and stabilizes the frame rate 10.5%. Memory Fusion technology increases data loading speed up to 106%.
OriginOS 6 will be installed on the flagship vivo X300 Series, launched in Vietnam in mid-November.
Xiaomi launches REDMI 15C – new popular smartphone with huge 6,000mAh battery
On October 17, Xiaomi officially introduced the REDMI 15C in the Vietnamese market. This is the latest popular smartphone model, featuring a 6,000mAh battery, a large 6.9-inch screen and a slim, lightweight design. With a starting price of only 3.69 million VND, the product is aimed at a wide range of users.
