Italian tennis player Jannik Sinner continued to show his excellent form when he defeated his senior Novak Djokovic 2-0 ( 6-4, 6-2) in the semi-finals of Six Kings Slam, a friendly tournament with a "huge" total prize value for the world's six top tennis players, taking place in the early morning of October 17 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
Before the tournament, Sinner had won all six of his most recent official matches against Djokovic, including two convincing victories in the semi-finals of Roland Garros and Wimbledon 2025. At the Six Kings Slam, the 24-year-old continued to show his superior class, Sinner only needed more than an hour to "subdue" the Serbian legend.
Sinner had a good day with 27 winners , 5 unforced errors and lost 8 points on serve throughout the match.
"I think it was the best serve of my career. I wish it was always like this. We always try to improve, there are days when things work exceptionally well, and today was one of those days.
We have worked a lot in the past month, serving for hours. If the result is like this, I am very satisfied" - Sinner expressed when asked about the match.

At the age of 38, Djokovic also admitted that he could no longer maintain his dominance over the younger generation. "It's not pleasant to be 'taught a lesson' like today. But I'm still happy to be playing at a high level, and still in the top 5 in the world. I'm grateful for that," Djokovic said.
With 24 Grand Slam titles and a series of records, Djokovic also affirmed that he does not want to stop: "I wish I could trade my body for just one year younger, to continue competing with players like Sinner and Alcaraz. I will continue to challenge them until I do."
After losing to Sinner, Djokovic will play Taylor Fritz for third place. The Italian is in a dream final against Carlos Alcaraz.
After this match, Djokovic also humorously apologized to the audience when the match was too short. "Sorry for the short match today. But it was his fault, not mine, Sinner was like a train that couldn't stop" - Djokovic expressed.
In this tournament, each participating player will receive 1.5 million USD in prize money, while the champion will receive 6 million USD, a prize higher than any Grand Slam tournament except the US Open.
